3 SIs suspended for dereliction of duty in Buxar
In a decisive crackdown on misconduct, Buxar SP Shubham Arya has suspended three Sub-Inspectors after an unscheduled night inspection unveiled glaring lapses in their patrolling duties. The officials from Town, Naya Bhojpur, and Industrial police stations are now under disciplinary scrutiny for failing to heed the orders of their superiors.
Buxar: Three police officers were suspended for alleged negligence of duty following a surprise inspection conducted by Buxar SP Shubham Arya across the district on Saturday night. The inspection aimed to review orderly duty and patrolling arrangements at various police stations.According to the SP, instances of gross negligence and disregard for instructions issued by senior officers were observed at several locations during the checks. Taking serious note of these lapses, he ordered the immediate suspension of three officers on Sunday. They have been placed on survival allowance pending further action.Those suspended are SI Amarjeet Kumar of Town police station, SI Nazrul Haq of Naya Bhojpur police station, and SI Amrendra Kumar Singh of the Industrial police station. Explanations have also been sought from other police personnel found responsible for lapses during the inspection, the SP added.
